My top tips for students on getting organized:

Use what you have at home because money is tight.
Get rid of your junk drawer.
Have a system.

What are the key signs that you’re getting disorganized?

When you’re embarrassed to have company over, that’s key.
When you can’t find your keys when you go to leave.
When you have nothing to wear.

These things all mean that you’re feeling disorganized and you’re not feeling good about it. Life gets overwhelming and as soon as you get organized you’ll feel much better!

There’s a big difference between cleaning and being organized. When you clean, things will become messy again in 3-5 days but when you’re organized everything has a home and it stays. Get organized, get rid of the clutter, have a system and you’ll be on track! Watch more here …

We have all been waiting for that rainy day to organize our home. Luckily its raining all this weekend, Yeah! Lots of time to declutter and organize. Dont Keep Those Boxes!!!

So many people mismanage their storage and living space by holding onto empty boxes. Empty boxes eat up usable space, then clutter and disorganization begins. Perhaps it began before? Anyway initially there is the logical reason for holding on to the box such as a purchase of an item and the thought of returning it. Therefore the need to keep the original packaging. Another famous reason for holding on to the box is for one day that you will move you would use the original box.

So here is the truth as I know it . By the time you move, you either don’t possess the item anymore or the item is broken. But guess what, you kept the dusty box. And for those of you who kept the box while you were deciding to keep the item or not. The warranty had expired 2 years ago. But guess what, you still have the box.

When you move you”ll get new boxes and packing materials for your items. So please get rid of those boxes and make room for the items you need to keep and store.

As my heart goes out to the people in Haiti and I sit behind my computer, thinking of what I can do and how I can help? I know money donations are of the utmost importance and I donated and urge everyone to donate aswell no matter how small or big.
